What is WristMatch?

WristMatch is MundoRelojero’s personalized watch fit tool. Instead of looking at case diameter alone, it combines your wrist circumference, preferred watch presence and the published dimensions of each watch to estimate how that model is likely to wear on your wrist.

Once you create a WristMatch profile, MundoRelojero can use it to personalize watch recommendations, highlight compatible watches while you browse, provide fit insights on product pages and help you compare several watches before choosing.

Watch size is more than case diameter

Two watches with the same case width can feel very different on the wrist. Case length, thickness and shape can all influence visual presence and comfort.

When those measurements are published for a watch, WristMatch uses them alongside case width to provide a more useful fit estimate rather than relying on a single measurement alone.

WristMatch combines your wrist circumference with the way you prefer a watch to wear.

Compact favors a subtler presence closer to the wrist. Balanced aims for versatile everyday proportions. Bold favors a stronger visual presence.

Your preference does not change a watch’s physical dimensions. It changes how WristMatch evaluates those dimensions for you.

How to measure your wrist

Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the part of your wrist where you normally wear a watch. Keep it comfortably snug without pulling it tight, then enter the circumference into WristMatch in centimeters or inches.

If you do not have a measuring tape, a strip of paper or string can be measured against a ruler.

There is no single case size that works for everyone. Wrist circumference is a useful starting point, but case length, thickness, shape and your preferred visual presence can all affect how a watch wears. WristMatch combines these factors when published data is available.

Does watch case shape affect how large a watch looks?

Yes. Square, rectangular, cushion, tonneau and other case shapes can create a different visual presence from a round watch with a similar case width. WristMatch accounts for case shape as a secondary fit factor.

Is case width the same as case length?

No. Case width measures the watch across the case, while case length measures its vertical dimension. On many watches, case length can influence how much space the watch occupies across the wrist.

Can I compare watches with WristMatch?

Yes. After creating your WristMatch profile, you can select compatible watches and compare how their published dimensions are expected to wear based on your wrist and preferred presence.

Does WristMatch guarantee that a watch will fit?

No. WristMatch provides an advisory fit estimate. Wrist shape, lugs, strap or bracelet design and personal comfort preferences can affect real-world fit.
